Conservative restoration of a Roman chasuble with its stole and maniple. Made in beige Gros de Tours silk and golden metallic yarn, it dates late-XVIIIth Century.
The layer of dust that covered the vestments has been removed through controlled suction. Metallic embroideries have been cleaned with neutral ph gommage and set with technical stitches.
The whole vestments set have been set on a new medium in order to make it more stable.
