Conservative restoration of a chalk statue of Saint Teresa of Lisieux.
The statue has been cleaned from dust and stains, as well as the iron hooks used to assemble the different pieces. The ruined parts have been secured with resin and the destroyed ones have been rebuilt.
The Saint’s clothes were found in such a terrible conservation status that it was impossible to recover them. The intervention focused on retrieving their paper pattern.
After an accurate iconographic research, new clothes were made.
