The Cathedral “Nostra Signora dell’Orto” in Chiavari was born as a Marian sanctuary in 1613, three years after the first apparition of the Virgin in that place.

The ceiling of the Basilica, made of gilded linden and fir wood, dating back to the second half of the 1500s, is the basis on which the project was inspired.
The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Agatha is a baroque structure dating from the fifteenth century, exactly between the years 1629 and 1696, in the historic center of Gallipoli.
