The Basilica of Santa Maria Trastevere in Rome was founded in the third century by Pope Callisto I. Today it is known for being the most important place of worship in the Trastevere district, but especially for its ancient mosaics.
It is the latter that have been used as inspiration for the project

Celebrant chasuble in raw silk fabric woven with manual loom. Concelebrant chasuble and dalmatic in cotton/viscose fabric
The ancient mosaics of the Basilica were used as a starting point for the realization of the project
Application of handwoven gold trimmings
